6k seems to be a big jump in price. They didn't have any 1AC units in stock (go figure in TX) but this gives you an idea from MHSRV.

Definitely get the 50a with 2 ac units. We have a 2018 ACE 30.4 (31'6") and opted for the 30a 4000 gen and single ac unit over a 2017 same model with the 5000 generator and 2 ac units. It's very hot in North Fl and last week we made a quick trip to south Fl. It was too hot for the single ac unit and it took some time to finally cool down. Always buy a little more that you think you need. You can always cool down with the 2 units and then switch to one but you can't go the other way.

The 30 amp one has more body paint than the 50 amp one and that and the A/C's is the only difference. Other than price. My question is can one A/C keep up in hotter conditions?
Thanks
I have the 31S with 2 a/c units and 50amps. Definitely get 2 a/c units. There are plenty of posts on here with people unhappy with one a/c. Some have even added a second unit and have two lines to plug into a pedestal. There is also another difference the dual a/c units have a bigger generator.

Had a 2015 Windsport 31S with one A/C and 30 amp service. The A/C kept up pretty well under hot conditions in Florida, SE Utah, and Arizona in the summer. It sounds like the 31z is about the same size as the Windsport? However, there is another consideration. With 30 amp service you may not be able to operate the A/C AND something like a toaster oven or an electric skillet at the same time without popping a breaker. You can use some appliances along with the A/C, but not one that draws as much as the electric skillet. We now have a Palazzo with 50 amp service, 2 A/Cs and we can run everything without worrying about overdrawing the electrical.

My wife and I traded the Gemini for a 2018 Windsport 31z. It has 2 a/c units. Was hoping to pick it up this coming weekend in Myrtle Beach but it looks like Florence is going to push that backs couple of days[emoji23]
