Hershey PA RV show

Does any one regularly attend this RV show? Is it the biggest in the Northeast and do you know why you can over night camp in the parking lot any more?

thanks

We lived in Hershey and went every year. Probably the largest RV show in the US. Thousands of RVs exhibited. We were camped in the Hershey Park Campgrounds during the last one.

They were allowing overnighting in the grassy field across from the parking lot of the Giant Center.

It is the largest show in the Northeast and gets extremely crowded.

You can overnight park for 30.00 per night plus 10.00 if you tow a car. See this link.

Overnight Parking

I prefer to stay at one of the local campgrounds with full hookups which generally ends up being cheaper in the long run.

But last year you could park in the actual parking lot correct? I wont have a car so not sure I want to depend on the shuttle for one day.

The parking lot at the Giant Center is where they have all the RVs setup. There is only handicapped parking there. The parking lot for Hershey Park is for cars only. Thousands of folks attend the show daily. There are two huge grassy areas directly across the road from the paved parking lots -- easy walking distance and the police control pedestrian crossing. This grassy area is used for overnight RVs. There is shuttle service that runs every 15 minutes.

We were in the Hershey Park Campgrounds. This is a beautiful campground. There is bus shuttle service to the show every 15 minutes. Even when there is no show, bus shuttle run from the the campground to the park.

I forgot -- if you want to stay in the campground you need to make reservations WAY early because it will be filled during the show. Just do a Google search for the campground. It's about 2 miles from the show.
