RV fresh water tank leak

I have a 2005 Four Winds 5000 and the fresh water tank has a leak in the top 1/3 of the tank. I'm going to remove the tank and attempt to repair it. If it can be welded, can anyone confirm that it is low density polyethylene or LDPE?

Also, has anyone used eternabond to perform a similar repair?

Thanks!!

I have had luck fixing these tanks and the black tank by using plastic saw dust and mixing it with the pvc glue and smearing it on the cracks after you rough the surface.
