Yes, pretty much that easy after I confirmed the #8 screws and got the tape stuck on the lights. As far as getting the tape off, I don't envy that aspect of the job. It is still worth it if it keeps the units water tight. I almost went with the factory sponge gasket and decided to err on the side of overkill.
