I had almost the same thing happen last year. It would turn over sputter a bit and quit, then nothing but turn over. Had to call Ford and have it towed to a dealer that could work on it. Turned out to be a leaking vac. hose or something like that. I would like to have talked to the mech. and got more info, but all of them were gone when I went back to dealer to get it out of hock.$140. Ford covers towing, but said the vac. hose was part of Thor mod.
