They are slides.
I looked and don't see anything like a drain, see picture.looking a drain

After I looked again I think I can see light at the lower bottom where the vertical rubber should meet the bottom rubber seal, the light is about the size of a pencil point which could be the problem. Both side look like the gap between the rubber is the same however I don't see the light on the Left side.
I think I'll get out the fix all duct tape and tape that window to see if that stops the whistle
Again thanks for the input, it may have cured the problem
