It's only been a week since I did the batteries using the Boeshield T-9 spray as the last step. I checked today and the compartment and batteries look immaculate. According to their website one can use this stuff on anything that is susceptible to corrosion. This stuff may be my new best friend, thanks for the suggestion. I was going to try Fluid Film, but nobody suggested it as a possible solution.
