That could very well be true, Bruce. Their biggest problem was that the OnStar system in their truck kept wanting to route them onto an east coast thruway that was supposed to be only for automobiles. Trying to get around otherwise, even with OnStar agents helping, got them in a downtown area.

They found the low clearance spot after a policeman and OnStar agreed on a way back to a route they could use. That's why I'd not trust a GPS that was in a vehicle, and only partially trust one that was for RV's/trucks and had clearance info. I still prefer the atlas though for sure.
