If the KOA you are mentioning is the KOA Mount Pleasant, SC we stayed there in March and we are planning on rolling in there again Thursday evening. It is close enough to Downtown Charleston that there is plenty to see and do.
My other half has a full itinerary planned which includes no cooking other than bagels for breakfast.
