I have to level in my driveway; if I don't the Axis' refer doesn't cool--it warms!
I also put the slide out when parked in the driveway and
not level without issue. The slide in the 24.1 is so small I would expect it to work at almost any angle provided you're not twisting the frame up (e.g. don't try extending it while ascending a hill in Moab, UT).
