OK, I'll tell you my experience with buying out of state.
We looked at the model hurricane (same color, floor plan etc.)
at CW here in Colorado, then I shopped on line and ended up
buying from Motorhome Specialties in Texas for a savings of
about $20K. Well worth the time and $$ to travel 750 miles
each way.
The only authorized Thor dealers in Colorado is CW. Yes they
have fixed my warranty items, but they are honest about that
they will work on their sold units first, yours second. It usually
takes me about 3 weeks to get an appointment.
