I have heard from what I believe is a reliable RV service center that they often end up replacing toilet mechanisms in coaches which were dry winterized. It seems that it is extremely difficult to fully remove water from the lines and toilet with just air pressure. If I am doing a dry winterizing I still will run antifreeze through the toilet.
