Launch of "The nest"
Plans are to start our summer travels tomorrow, if the weather lets us, with the first stop at Open Pond, USFS, near Andalusia AL. Millers Ferry, acoe, in MS for the 2nd night and the 3rd stop will be Choctaw Lk. Next stop will be Pendalton Bend, acoe, in AR then onto Sulphar OK for two nights of dry camping. Rock Creek is NPS and close to Wally world and laundry. With a couple of stops in TX and NM our short term destination is near Payson AZ for a few weeks of dry camping until it gets to hot. From there maybe CO or MT and then start working our way east in Sept. with reservations for Catalooche in Smokey Mtns NP starting the 25th of Sept.
This will be a good test of the additional solar and towing the Jeep at higher elevations.
