Richbam,

Welcome to the Forum and RV'ing.
Earlier this Spring we notice the AC struggling to cool the RV. I took it to the shop at Campers inn and they put it in the shop for various checking and testing (2+ hours as they went over it with a fine tooth comb before the final test). The final report says: "Tested for all for 1 hr. at 78 degrees Outside Temp, unit was pulling 9.8 amps, should be 13 amps. Return air temp 79 degrees. Supply Air temp 63 degrees. 16 degree difference, should be at least 20 degrees or more. BAD A/C , Cause Loss of coolant."

The extended warranty was approved and a new unit ordered, we went home and when the unit arrived I drove to the shop and waited on the install...2 hrs (I also had the engine oil changed while I was there).

GREAT Staff and Tech's there at CamperInn!!!

I hope this information can help with your AC problem.

Doc
