Internal door handle failure

After only moderate use of my 2016 Thor Chateau Citation a small internal element in my main door handle broke thus resulting in failure of the normal function of the door handle. The door handle has a bolt locking capability and I can lock and unlock my door with bolt lever when inside the home but am forced to use the key to unlock and enter the home from outside. Although many similar handles appear to be available from Amazon for something less than $200, ordering from my source to ensure the handle was correct for my home, Thor has plenty in stock but asks over $300 for this handle. This is my second disappointment with Thor. Beware buyers!

This is another well-known defect in the Tri-Mark locks.
The ne ones are a vast improvement.

You must realize in a 5 year old motor Coach things are gonna break. It is best to not sweat the small stuff. Welcome and enjoy your coach.

If it's a primark call them they may send you a new one for free. They did me. It's a factory defect.
