Fellow Roadies, I'm curious about what tire pressure you are running? I generally carry only about 5-10 gallons of fresh water and fairly empty grey and black tanks. I've been using the 82 psi recommended by Thor but would like your real life experiences. TIA!
Have you checked your placard? If not you might want to as this is the recommended PSI for your coach. You can also call THOR and ask for the weight when it left the factory. I did and found it was within 100 lbs from me weighing it at a scale. In my case, the placard says 82 psi. So I run it at 82 psi. It rides really nice and the tire wear has been very good. Be carful about advice from tire dealers. They want to jack up the psi to the max noted on the tire WHICH IS NOT CORRECT! Good luck and safe driving.
Where is the placard located that shows what the correct tire pressure in a 2013 Thor ACE 30.1?
The placard on our 2013 A.C.E. 29.2 is to left of the driverís seat. I weighed our coach, in travel setup, and found its front and rear axle weights were within the weights shown on the placard so the stated tire pressures, 82lbs front and rear, are what I use.
