ACE 29G ...Battery Type Question

On our 2023 coach the image is our house batteries. We have a 100w solar Go Pro Solar controller that is set to battery type WET.

Is that correct for these house batteries?

What is difference between lead acid and WET?Click image for larger version

Wet batteries have a liquid electrolyte.
Lead and Acid are the physical reacting components in most car/truck/golf cart batteries.
FLA is Flooded Lead Acid - the wet version of lead-acid batteries - that's what you have so your controller is correctly set.

Other standard charger settings may be AGM or Lithium.

AGM is a lead acid battery where the acid is "absorbed" into the glass mats and held against the lead plates by the glass mats (think fiberglass).

ah, looks just like mine. Suggestion: Coat all those exposed terminal lugs with an electrical sealant. Corrosion free, trouble free.. I keep all exposed ground studs clean and sealed. Never had an electrical problem. There are all sorts of products out there.

I use glyptal spray, same stuff freightliner factory uses or all exposed electrical connections, it kinda expensive like 26.00 a can but worth it.
