There's no doubt that a "supercharged PDI" is a necessity; when buying a Thor.
Our 2018 Outlaw had two pages of warranty issues. Most were pretty minor, and did get fixed quickly.
Our Tiffin only had two small issues pop up during the PDI. They were fixed right then and there!

Yesterday I picked up our new Four Winds 24BL. During the walkthrough/orientation we found some minor issues that were fixed on the spot (a few lights and they replaced the skylight because it was badly yellowed and looked warped to me). Also had to order one inner slide out seal, radio remote, front floor mat and the small sliding cover for the screen door.

Drove home 85 miles and all was good. I am really impressed about how much quieter it is and the better handling compared to the 2011 Reyo we traded. It was over 90 degrees and the dash AC blows cold enough to make you freeze, so no need to run the roof AC while driving.

Today I installed running board so my wife can get in/out easier, grab handles go in next week.

Obviously I had to get underneath the RV to install the running boards and now I know why there are so many are complaining about Thor's quality. I had to use nearly 40 zip ties to secure and tidy up the coach wiring. there was a bundle of battery cables hanging down within five inches of the ground because the one mounting screw for the junction block broke. The junction block has two mounting locations and is now properly secured with two bolts and locking nuts. Water was dripping out the left big storage compartment because the elbow fitting which feeds the water pump was loose (it required to drain the tank so I could lift it in order to R&R the fitting with Teflon tape. None of those issues are big deals to me because I can and don't mind fixing it but I can see how somebody can get aggravated by it, especially if not handy with tools or not having the knowledge to repair stuff.

I still have to fix the tank heating pads, they were loose when I looked at the first time and they put some tape on it which doesn't work well. I am thinking maybe liquid nails or Eternabond or Flexsteel tape after cleaning everything with mineral sprits. I haven't used either, so if you can speak from experience I appreciate the advice. The two house batteries were replaced with new ones but don't have hold downs; I think I just use ratchet straps and set them on a rubber mat instead directly on the frame.

Overall we are very happy with our new RV and my wife just loves the cabinetry. Thor does make pretty stuff but as an owner of a new RV you just have to do the final touches to make it a 100%. I also have an outstanding dealer (Reliable RV in Springfield, MO) and have a good relationship with the service manager. They always treat me well and get me in quickly if I need something or when ordered parts arrive.

Welcome and congrats on the new motor home. Looks great. This is a great forum with a lot of wonderful friends out there willing to help out with any questions you might have in the future. There are many modifications that you can do to make it your own new home on wheels. Have fun and enjoy the ride.

"71",
I really like the paint scheme on your rig!
I'm happy to see that you are pretty happy with it, and that the PDI worked out to your satisfaction.
My Missus really likes driving our Sprinter-rig. She says that it feels like a big van.
I hope that you and yours enjoy endless "Miles & Smiles" with it!
