lots of suspension/shock suggestions

has anyone looked into liquidsprings? expensive but looks worthwhile.

I'm unsold.
I considered them but they appear to be a cure for those with 95% less skill or great fear.
I test drove one.
I didn't find a need for it.

But(and not aimed at anyone)
If that's what it takes to get the spouse comfortable with driving the RV...absolutely do not hesitate to buy that system.

My electric bike changes a 12% grade to essentially 6% grade, effort wise.
If I had more seat time I wouldn't need the crutch.

Looks pretty cool, but from what I saw you're looking at 15-20k, not worth it for me personally.

My F550 chassis rides pretty good, with exceptions of when I'm on parts of the I40 Arizona or some California highways I don't have any complaints on the ride. I added sumo springs which took the jarring out of the ride and its a bit more floaty Cadillac feeling now.

Money wasted and not recover on resale or trade in. Buy a DP. Money better spent.

That’s a lot of money to spend. Like Duck said if that’s what helps get another driver then maybe it’s worth it. I just don’t see how you are going to make a rolling box get that much better to justify the cost. Getting a diesel pusher seems like a better option. Seems to me if the manufacturer knew people would pay more for systems like that they would seem them as an upgrade.

issue is I need the 4x4. its required in a lot of the places I boon dock. I'm considering this less for the ride and more for how it improves capability. Not that Im going rock crawling with my rig but if you've ever been stuck you know that you'll pay anything to get unstuck.

Shakedown for the class C. Sunk 5 inches into the ground overnight. 2 F250s and 2 150 foot tow straps to get us out. Campground put us in a soft area for one night. Entire stay (7 nights) was free because of their screw up.

Buy a winch and lockers instead of that liquid spring system.

My rv is fully equipped.
Front and rear winch mounts. Post 142 in my signature thread.
Snatch straps, soft shackles, sand anchor.
Tread plates. post 214

I'm not sure you're on the right path for the right application.

I appreciate that, thank you. Winch and bumper are in the near future but neither of those provide any lift which is what I think I need most. Could be wrong and am open to suggestions and especially advice from those who've done what Im doing (which is what make this site so helpful). So, again, thank you and I appreciate it. I certainly dont want to blow 20k for no reason.

That sucks, well maybe the free nights made it worth it.
