Front hitch

Can a hitch be put on the front of a Thor Vegas to hold a scooter about 350lbs

Front Hitch

We had a welder install one on the front of our Windsport. We use a cargo rack to haul 2 electric bikes. About 200lbs total with the rack. It does great.

It's an easy bolt on and the part is available at etrailer.com. (I changed my front frame so The etrailer unit will not fit. I sold it, unused, to Gary and Iris) The e-trailer one requires you to cut a 3x3 inch hole in the cap behind where the front license plate goes. Easy.
The weight you asked of is no concern.

A scooter would catch more air than a bicycle. Do you thi k this would affect cooling?

Only miniscule cooling problems due to the surface area of the bike/scooter. Too many holes for air to pass through. Air would be more(ish) redirected instead of blocked.
Take a look at how much area is in the grille/hood. Those grill bars are huge blockage wise, but nothing redirection wise as cubic feet vs vs cubic feet. Fan clutch might kick on 150 times a day instead of 125 times a day.

Personally, I'd lay it down on a platform instead of standing it up. You'll gain a few inches in overall length but lose many many bug strikes.
