RV Locks

RVlock is having a Memorial Day sale. Are these locks worth it? Do they provide that much better security? They look like they can be jimmied open as well as the lock that came with my Vegas. Has anyone switched to these keyless entry locks for better security?

RVLock does not have the keyless lock repalcement for the TriMark lock that most Thor's use.

I just got a notice that a new product will be dropping soon. At one point they said they were working on a replacement for the TriMark and we might see it this year.

The email I got today has a cell phone in it so I am wondering if they will be introducing an app that can lock or unlock the lock when away from the coach?

I'm hoping for the TriMark replacement option myself!

Miss it too, had it on my Coachmen and was sad to give it up.

Hi RichRob

Look at your current door lock and then go to the website and compare it with what you have to see if they have one to fit. I wanted to change mine out but they don't have one to fit yet.

The Trimark website is not user friendly
The one photo in the RV lock section shows the “long” Vegas/Axis paddle on my rig.
But go down to choices and there are dozens of choices of long verbal descriptions without any photos.
So I’m not really sure where to start to identify my particular mechanism.

I installed one on my 35c. Not sure how much more secure it is, but I like not carrying keys with me!

My electronic lock was not completely disengaging when keying in the code. Pulled the back off inside the door and there was absolutely no lubrication of any kind or type visible. Used some lube with Teflon and it started working fine pulling the plunger completely back.
