Seems like they left off a Full tank of Fresh Water. I wouldn't leave home without it, especially if I plan to vacation on winter travels that might possibly merit the need to for RV tire chains.

Btw, we got new Portable Icemaker for Christmas; so now I need even more water . That thing is awesome

How fast do you expect?

Ours make ice in 8 min, that is well beyond my expectations. We couldn't even get out of the campground in 8 minutes.

We have setting for Small or Large cubes, I prefer the Large for my drinks. I daughter like the small ice because she normally get hers crushed from the home freezer. I always carry ice from home for trips, and will probably still do so, but to be able to make anytime anywhere is all new to me. Plus if I needed the space in the Freeze, I could leave my ice tupperware at home. As long as I have water and ice, I am good because that is a premium for during Texas Spring & Summers.

Think about it, if we had no ice and wanted ice we can have it now 8 minutes later and every 6 minutes thereafter. It loads with 2 quarts of water.

You a bad man, I can't keep up with you. Do you not use it? If they selling them for $395 I can see why they can afford to write a few off if customer is not happy.

We have a Frigidaire at about 1/3 that cost. Looks very similar to yours. It has worked well thus far and it will be part of every trip. I like how heavy it is so it will not slide around due to that crazy driving my wife let's me do

I just hope it can make enough ice to keep up with the 100s of fish I catch to keep them fresh for a few days

Those are kind of slick, but at 14.5 lbs I would have to lose 2 gallons of my water to keep my weight down. The WPs (Weight Police) are always watching

Everyone should see your FrankenTanken!!! (post #217)

Frankentanken cut me back about a quart on weight.
It's the best of all worlds.
I fill it to the top BUT it holds a quart less.
I haz sssupreemz.
(Look up
Cat bible)

And what a pain in the ass to cut and paste.
Next time it gets the vintage thunderbird washer bag and remote pump.
But I did learn to plastic weld.

I used to have a rare 1960's gm accessory called
Liquid tire chain
I may add a system to the 24.1.
It can basically be a windsbield washer full of bleach aimed at the dualies.

I have threatened to add legs to those skids so they can be used as tables but we don't picnic enough to bother.
