Greetings, we're Bob and Linda from West Virginia. Just purchased our first MH, a 30.4 ACE. We're looking forward to traveling as much as possible during our sunset years. Some aspects of owning a MH are overwhelming especially getting familiar with all of the various systems. Would appreciate getting some of your favorite websites that list campgrounds locations so we're can start planning adventures. We're excited to get on the road and Blessed to part of this special group.

There are numerous sites & apps for you to browse through, rvparkreviews, good Sam, rvparky, casino rv parks, just have pick your favorite. But you have to take the reviews with a grain of salt, we stayed at a beautiful park & one reviewer gave it 1 star because "they didn't furnish dog poop bags", others because "the FREE WiFi was weak".

Congrats and welcome to the forums. There are a lot of great people here who love sharing their experience, it's been very helpful to me as a new owner!

For parks, I like Park Advisor, though there are quite a few others. I try to look at multiple sources, including the Good Sam app, Google reviews and even Yelp.

Welcome and congrats on your new coach. Yes, a new coach can be a little overwhelming at first, but just take one thing at a time and you will get used to it in short order. You may want to get a copy of Ed's manual as there is a lot of good info in it that will help now and down the road.

As far as campgrounds, you may want to check with RV Park Reviews - Trusted Reviews of Campgrounds & RV Parks for campgrounds that are suitable for your style of camping if you are new to camping. If you want to do it on a budget like we do, you may want to consider joining one of the discount campground org's. We belong to Passport America which is half price off on their participating campgrounds. There are some restrictions though, but you usually get back your annual fee in two or three nights of half price camping.

Welcome to the site and congrats on your ACE. We are from WV also and have a 2015 ACE 29.3....which we love. The internet can give you all the info you will ever need. Happy journeys neighbor

We use KOA when we have the grandkids with us, but if not KOA & Jellystone parks are usually much more expensive, even with their discounts, than any other nearby parks & typically full of families with kids, I don't have any problem with kids, it's that I don't want to relax in a swimming pool full of screaming kids & pay 50% more to do so.
We had Passport America for the first year & 90% of the time we wanted to use it didn't apply on that day, so we didn't renew, but others have great luck with it.
Also if a park is called a "resort" that means absolutely nothing about the quality/condition of the park, some of the so called "resorts" we've been to we will never return.
Give yourself a few weeks on the road & you'll be glad pros before you know it. Just remember enjoy the experience, it's a great big beautiful country.

Thanks TT, good advice. Sometimes you just have to take a chance and learn from the experience. Got kids in Porter.
