Hello!

We are looking to size up just a little from our Revel Sprinter van. The Thor Axis and Vegas look very intriguing to us. I love the maneuverability of the Revel, and for solo trips, I love it. But when my husband travels with me, it’s a bit tight. Looking to hear what all of you have to say and recommend on options! Thanks for welcoming me here!

Welcome to the forum.

If it’s not listed on the brochure it’s not an option. Thor does not offer many, if any options on their Class A motorhomes.

Welcome to the forum. We started out with a Class B in 2015 on a Sprinter chassis and drove it all around. We then started looking at something bigger for more room since we were travelling with 3 adults and one child. In 2018 we traded it for a 2018 Thor Siesta 24SS with two slide outs. That gave us much needed room and was still built on a Sprinter chassis. We went cross country and took another couple with us. We used campgrounds with cabins for the other couple to sleep in at night. We then decided that if we were going to continue bringing our friends we needed something bigger. We tow dollied our car behind our Class C. This year we moved into a 2022 Thor Miramar 37.1 Class A which gives us plenty of room inside and outside. Storage is no longer an issue as well as sleeping inside for all of us. We are going to flat tow our car now and sold the tow dolly. We are now planning our first cross country trip from California to Florida in 2023.

Paul
