New owners

We finally picked up our new Ace 30.1 today! First time owners, we are looking forward to weekend getaways! We purchased from RVOne in Winter Park, Fl and could not be more pleased (so far)! I appreciate this forum and have several projects to do based on the info here.

Welcome and congratulations ! Great info on this forum !! Our second long trip was to your fine state . We stayed in an awesome RV resort in Naples and had a wonderful time !

Thank you! We also love the Naples/Ft Myers/ Marco Island area. We are heading to Port Canaveral this weekend on out maiden trip, hoping not to run into any icebergs!

Congratulations on your new unit. You are just down the road from my location here in what this week has been a sauna. We bought our Four Winds from the dealer in Sanford, just up the road from where you bought yours. If you would drop, me a PM on the campground in Port Canaveral. Might have to try it out.

No worries, there is too much good info here! I appreciate the fact that we can learn from others experiences and we hope to add ours to the knowledge pool too! You are right, it has been a sauna here, but I am enjoying the pm showers.. Will send PM re: Jetty Park..

Congratulations and welcome! Enjoy those weekend getaways. Check out Florida's great state parks, and remember that the popular ones fill up months ahead.
Having an RV in Florida is a great evacuation plan, should you be in the path of a hurricane. That's something we haven't had to worry about over the last decade, but it doesn't hurt to be prepared.

We just got back from our maiden voyage and all went well! A couple of minor issues, leaking outside shower hose, it was just cross threaded, reinstalled and works great. I HATE the cup holders, will have to do something about those for sure. Overall we had a good first trip, the park was great, well kept and clean, the folks were friendly, and we got to see the rocket launch this morning.. it aint no shuttle, but still very cool! I did almost drove off my levelers, but thankfully the alarms saved me.... I will have to do a 'remove before flight' checklist (Sliders, Bay doors, Awning, Antenna, Levelers) and put it on the steering wheel for future trips!
