Planning to trade Sunseeker 2500TS for 2018 Axis 24.1 this week with a goal to drive with more confidence. Seems the only thing missing in a Class A is airbags. Asking that you weigh in with one thing I should ask about during the walk through: battery seals? Windshield wipers? Tankless water heater settings? Being a retired accountant and a not retired real estate broker/owner, we are not DIYers and don’t want to be reluctant campers; want to get out there and embrace it, warts and all!

Seconding Jamie's recommendation that you access that manual. It has a great PDI, pre-deivery inspection worksheet. Print it and take it with you, and make a video with your phone or camera, for things you will undoubtedly forget!

Be forewarned that many dealers will try to up their profit on your deal by selling you stuff of dubious value, such as extended warranty. Anything they offer can be obtained for less money somewhere else, if you really need it.

Agree completely with this suggestion. Although, I have an ACE rather than an Axis or Vegas, I looked through Ed Felker's manual about two weeks after I purchased my ACE and my immediate thought was, "Wow, I wish I had one of these for my ACE! It is a great product. It reads like I had hoped my owner's manual would." Actually, there is a lot of good info in there for those us who own other rigs, as well. I actually considered doing a manual like that myself for ACE owners, but then thought, "Nope, I'm retired. I wrote way too many manuals, operations plans, etc., during my years in the Air Force to want to start doing it again as a retiree." It would be nice, though, if another energetic ACE owner would take on a project like Ed's.
