Panama Beach RV Resort

Got away for a few days and stayed in Panama Beach RV Resort for Easter weekend. Nice place - 2 blocks from the beach - nice little pub on the corner, just across the street.

A break in the weather for a few days off-grid... right near freezing at night and factory batteries are still getting us through a long weekend of running the heater. Should make it through this 3rd season too...

About an hour of blacktop and another hour or so negotiating dirt road... found a nice place to stay across from the overflowing creek. Sure enjoy the high desert in the spring with nobody around!

Tycreek beautiful pictures! I've been wondering how the Vegas/Axis would handle being off the beaten path. I measured the clearance on my Axis and it's about 9". Not much room for error when off roading!

Can you share where this is? Seems such a serene place to visit.

Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta October 2016. We had a ball and would recommend this to anyone. Many times the balloons would land in the field right in front of the motorhome.

Certainly ... That's Succor Creek State Park or Thunder egg state park in Oregon. Leslie Gulch is there too with Owyhee reservoir access.

This is our camp site in Scorpion Bay in Baja Mexico. We are right above a great surfing point break.

Yes,we agree. We went with fantasy tours. You park right on the path of the balloons. You see so many without having to leave where your camper is located. Because the balloons do not go in the afternoon, fantasy had several side trips. Well worth the money.

Mission Bay CA, Orange Co CA,, plus

My granddaughter, 100 lb dog, and I drove out from Virginia Beach to San Diego last year. I did it again with the dog this year and almost drove into the tornados in Oklahoma last week. At the beach we had rugs to control the heat and dirt from the blacktop. Lots of shade! Usually it's just park, eat, walk the dog, sleep, sightsee, and drive on to the next stop. Last summer it was a tank of propane daily to run the AC, this trip the house batteries worked great! Generator to use shower. Loved Orange Co RV Park!

ID:	4853 Not sure I got the picture right. After wanting to try everything out got my first chance this weekend. Nice state park campground that is usually booked solid after memorial day and haven't been back here for like 20 years. We had several problems that I was able to take care of myself but everything worked just like it's supposed to. Had a good rain last night and no leaks anywhere, the only thing that I had any problems with was driving with some fairly strong side winds. Steering seemed sort of sloppy so I basically had a death grip on the wheel most of the way just trying to keep her going down the road straight. Calm winds on the trip home and was easier to control. Smaller 2 lane roads going 55 or under at times was easier to handle than the interstate. Never even tried to go 70 but kept her down around 65 or so.
