Outside TV

Will the outside TV on my 2018 Mirimar 35.3 play through the outside speakers next to it?

The short answer to that question is no. There is a way to make it do that but it is too complicated for me. Those speakers are tied to the radio in the bedroom.

They will in my coach. Set AUX IN on the bedroom radio and select speaker B. Purchase the Jensen radio remote or down load the radio control APP on your smart phone to control the volume.

Great topic, we haven't used the outside TV as of yet, our 2016 25.3 came with only one remote and zero instructions regarding how to use any of the entertainment components... Dealer orientation was, you know. with that said, it would be wonderful to find instructions for this RV's entertainment systems !

/QUOTE]Just google/bing/yahoo your radio name and model number and the manufacture's instillation and user instructions are on the website. Works for Jensen, Axxera and Furrion.

Which model of Jensen radio do you have in the bedroom? Mine is a AWM914...Not sure if it has wi-fi for an app...

I just realized my Jensen radio will allow me to use the outside speakers when I amusing the outside TV. I had just purchased a Bluetooth transmitter and when I went to install it I saw the red and white RCA cables plugged into the TV so the light bulb went on in my head and determined the Aux will allow the TV to use the outside speakers.

But is in somewhat typical Thor fashion, only one of the outside speakers was working. I hooked up the Bluetooth transmitter and both speakers worked so I knew it had to be an issue at the radio.

After taking the radio out I saw that the white RCA connector going into the radio had a splice. They must have cut the wire during manufacturing.

Then I realized there was only one splice. There are two wires in an audio cable.... signal and ground and they had both spliced together so it was shorting out. I pulled apart Thor's splice and stripped the wires and then created one splice for the ground and another splice for the signal..... that did the trick. Both speakers now work outside for the outside TV.

The outside TV on our 29M can also be pulled out and swiveled if needed when watching, somthing else the dealer does not tell you.

I did figure that out pretty quickly the second time out with it last year.

I just installed a swivel mount for the TV in the garage in our Outlaw 29H. When we pull the Spyder out, my wife turns the garage into the master suite. Putting the TV on a swivel like the one outside makes it easier to watch lying in bed.
