Pre-inspection systems checks for my Thor B-class

There are so many people buying RV's right now that there is a wait list for B-Class RV's. The dealerships seem to be rushing through the inspection process and many newbies do not know what to look for. I decided to create a quick video on what items I tested during my pre-purchase delivery inspection ... I am hoping this will help people avoid some major issues and post purchase regrets. Let me know what you think.

I am a pretty techno geeky guy and I spent at least an hour and a half on our PDI of a new Axis. Some things I missed or didn't look at carefully enough to really know. Some you will only find with use:

The one thing I really missed and it sounds trivial is that the dash cigarette lighter outlets were dead. This has been a PITA to find and I will probably let the dealer deal with it later this year.

Another thing and this was because the PDI was in January in Albany is that the Girard tankless water heater had bypass valves (isn't neaded) and were closed for the winterization. Pltheuse fitting leaked and the hose was crimped.

The two things that really couldn't be checked out in a reasonable time is that the BIM was miss wired (they are miss wired on all Thors AFAIK) and the WFCO charger acted like a fixed voltage charger that I subsequently replaced with a PDI unit.

Amazing how many little things are missed at the factory. For example in the video I show the solar charger display. The battery type was set on "wet" from the factory when they have AGM batteries. BIG DIFFERENCE when charging ... hope I did not hurt them too much over the last 5 months.

I also had another Thor owner contact me and tell me their solar was set to Wet as well ... everyone should check this before they ruin their batteries.
