Removing the carpet skirt around the table

I have a water leak (yikes) and there is water soaking the carpet around the collapsable table. How in the world does it come out? I don't see any screws or attachments and i can't seem to pry it loose.

Please help.

thanks!

By the way: Welcome to the Forum!

Here is the photo of it. Still leaking this morning, even with all the water turned off.

Can you get a wide plastic paint scraper started underneath it?
Or since it'll be covered back up: a metal one?

when I did that, I discovered that there were two screws buried into the carpet. I had got it out now. Thanks for all of your help. Janet

Hi there. I have a 22 FE. Similar leak, other than my hot water heater is located under the right side of the dinette and I believe your water tank is nearby. Either way it has a tendency to run along that seam by the floor. My fix was too relieve the pressure on the hot water heater, drain it, and then tighten the connections, they had become loose from driving. This fixed mine. To dry it I did the old fashioned open the coach in the heat and let it air dry, sprayed with Lysol.

Your 22FE Water Leak

The water tank is under the front dinette seat and runs via piping to the pump in the rear dinette seat, from there to the hot water tank, and other outlets, the hot water tank controls are accessible under the double door clothing cabinet behind the rear dinette seat. The floors of both dinette seats are easily removable to access the plumbing system. Take them out and vacuum up all the manufacturing debris and check carefully there may be more than one leak. The connectors are all threaded and easy to vibrate loose and to retighten if necessary. Inspect carefully. and check for leaks. I did this early on and I am happy with my 2020 Daybreak 22GOC which is the same floor plan as the 22FE. I just turned 6000 miles on a coach I got at the end of Feb 2020.

Remove carpet pad

Carpet is attached to one board which is held in place by 2 screws into wall. The are screwed thru the carpet so heads aren’t visible but you can find if you look closely.
