This one may be too easy for the experts, but at the risk of displaying my ignorance in asking, here we go. I have 30amp power while in storage. When I plug in my inverter kicks in runs the related appliances. My fridge kicks on and I have not been able to figure out how to shut it off. I tried the button the inside, the light stays on though, so I assume the fridge is running. Whirlpool refridge, power button is inside door with three settings and the on/off button.

Or, you can completely disconnect the chassis batteries and protect the bitter ends of the cables with tape to revent arcing. This, of course if it's long term storage. I've always been plugged in during storage (driveway) and never turn the fridge off. It's no different than the one in your home.

Also the light can be on ( showing power available to the Refer) but if you shut the thermostat control to off , the Refrigeration should be off .

Thanks for the info. You all have hit on some key points. It seems like I need to find out how to turn the inverter off. That would be best case. Next best, find out how to shut off the fridge. I am hoping to keep the rig plugged in so I can run a dehumidifier.

Find the inverter and turn off the switch on the inverter itself.

Batteries will still charge from shore power or solar with inverter turned off, correct?

The inverter has nothing to do with solar charging, or any charging for that matter.

My 2015 Tuscany has (I think) the same Whirlpool fridge and I too have a
hard time turning it off. I use the old way and simply unplug it. Be sure to leave the doors open a crack for air to circulate.

Yes, I have read my owners manual, twice. But thanks for asking. You all seem to provide more robust answers and alternate scenarios. Al Gore created the internet so we didn't need to rely on manuals. If we all read the manuals and understood them as well as the experts, all you guys would be doing is sending notes insulting one another. Touché!!!

My Frigidaire has a switch on the front panel to shut it off

Lights still work in freezer and fridge with compressor off

If inverter is on it automatically powers fridge unless it is turned off

You likely have one 120vac 15a circuit breaker that has the fridge and the other inverter outlets. When in storage, I open that breaker.
