water pump not working

Good day all, We have a 2009 Thor Wave 26rls and all o the sudden the water pump stopped working, the water flow stopped. The light on the water pump switch does not go on. We are not out of water. The breakers were not flipped. No fuses did not appear to be blown. Any ideas about what it could be or how we could troubleshoot?
Thanks a million in advance for any suggestions.

It could be two things the switch at the panel. The other area to address is there is a relay that could had quit. We have a different coach but ours did the same thing and it was the relay.

Use your VOM and see if you have voltage at the pump controller

The fact that the light at the switch does not come on indicates it is either a power to the switch problem or a switch problem. Take the control panel off, check for voltage to the switch and wire connections.

I would call Thor and ask them how the water pump gets 12vdc - directly from the control panel switch, by a pump controller turned on by the control panel switch or a relay turned on by the control panel switch as mentioned above. Knowing that info will help in your troubleshooting.

If you have only one switch for the water pump and no other like in the bathroom or outside shower, then there is a relay. The switch powers the relay and the relay powers the water pump. The water pump uses a lot of current and the relay uses very little to work. No power at the switch - fuse, wire disconnected, etc.. Go to Thor web page and download the wiring diagrams for your coach. They make it easy to trace the wiring and approximate location of the switch, fuse, and relay.
