2016 Majestic 23A

I am completely new to world, but our family of 4 will be moving across country from CA to Kentucky. We are selling everything and starting fresh, so we are strongly considering buying an RV to travel cross country and then park of my family’s 20 acres to part-time live in while we build a new construction. We’d also use the RV to regularly camp in the area.

I come across this Thor Motor Coach Majestic 23A and it seems to be what we’d be looking for. Does anyone have experience with these or any wisdom on this particular coach? It seems to be a good deal from everything we can tell. Looking to make a decision this weekend.

Family of 4?
I'd buy the biggest 5th wheel you can get.

Is this a prior rental unit? Regardless ding a reliable inspector to check out the rig before making an offer.

I believe it was a rental unit from RV dealer here in the area.

If you don’t want to hire an experienced inspector AT LEAST do a very thorough inspection of your own. It is a very simple coach, as these things go, but there are still a lot of things that could go wrong in 8 years of rental use. Look especially for evidence of water leaks. Your family may be different than mine but I wouldn’t put 4 people in there for any longer than a weekend! Good luck with your move. KY is a lovely place to live.
