2017 Sprinter "extended warranty" from Mercedes

In October I bought a 2017 Thor Synergy Sprinter. In January, I got an interesting notice from Mercedes telling me that they were extending the warranty (The original warranty has long expired and I did not purchase an extended warranty.) to cover some vaguely described (I am not smart about these things) issue. I made an appointment with the Mercedes dealer and they were wonderful. Seems it has something to do with catalytic converter and they had 9 Sprinters ahead of me waiting for parts. They will replace whatever this new extended warranty covers and do a whole lot of other things for me as well at no cost at all. They'll have to keep my rig for 5 days but will give me a loaner car for the duration. How about that for service!!! I was going to pay a local Euro repair shop to go through everything but no longer needed. Anyone else get one of these notices? BTW, I did add DEF when the icon came on my cockpit screen. I was very proud of myself because, as I have said before, I am not handy with these things.

Welcome to the forum. There is also a recall on the wheel speed sensors. Mercedes Benz will replace them at no cost to you. You might want to also check your onboard fire extinguisher. The company had a recall on them a couple of years ago. Check the extinguisher serial number online with the manufacturer to see if it needs to be replaced. I had mine replaced last year. I have a 2018 Thor Siesta 24SS.
