Helper Springs vs Anti Sway Bar
We just purchased our 2021 Four Winds 28A and I have been doing a lot of research on suspension. Ours is built on the 2020 Chevy Express 4500 cutaway chassis.
Hellwig does not have a solution.
I recently had a conversation with the R&D guy at Roadmaster and he was able to confirm that their anti sway bars will fit (Front 1104-140, rear 1109-173)
SuperSprings makes helper springs for that chassis (SSA17).
etrailer.com has a great video where they installed the helper springs on a Chevy pickup with a 5th wheel trailer.
My question is which will give me greater sway control, the helper springs or the anti sway bar? I like the fact that the helper springs give the back end a lift (I hate dragging my rear end across those dips!). Maybe helper springs in the back and upgraded anti sway bar in the front?
Any help is appreciated!
