TPMS Signal Booster Power Source Mag SV34

Happy New Year Thorforum friends - I’ll be installing a Tireminder i10 TPMS on our 2021 Magnitude SV34. Any suggestions for the best power source to tie into for the signal booster? Was planning on mounting it near or behind the rear axle and looking to tie into something that is disconnected with battery shutoff. Thanks for any ideas.

Don't you have a USB charging plate in the bedroom? It is supplied by 12 VDC from the house bus.

Also, individual lights above the bed have 12 VDC going to them.

That's exactly what I did. Unfortunately I don't remember what I tapped in to. Weather permitting, I'll go out and crawl under to refresh my memory... maybe snap a pic.

I hooked mine up to a cargo bay light. Can't remember if there was already a hole or if I drilled one

I also have the SV34 and use the EEZTire TPMS but I installed the booster for it under the bed since that is where the electronics bay is located and it is in the rear of the coach.

I then tapped into one of the open 12V circuits on the WFCO Power Center and used a 5A fuse. I also installed a wireless switch so I can turn it On and Off with a remote. This is same wireless switch that I use for the electronic ball valves I installed to drain the fresh water tank or fill it from the city water port.

Mine is ran off the 12 volt lug for the generator with a switch installed in the gen compartment door. The repeater is attached under the coach on the trailer hitch.

Haven’t turned the power on in over 10k miles and haven’t lost a signal to the toad. On my rig the repeater is not needed for the TM77 system.

My battery compartment is on passenger side behind rear wheels. I mounted the booster to the frame. I clamped hot alligator clip directly to a battery terminal and the ground clip to the frame.

I use a battery, 12 volt Dc power supply, that I charge before each trip.
