2022 THOR New BMPRO Panel??

Just thought I'd drop this line in case it helps anyone else out.

I purchased a New Thor 2022 Sequence 20K yesterday and somehow the rapid camp/BMPRO panel (Or whatever they're calling it) got disconnected from the RVMaster node. All documentation received with my new RV as well as Thor Motor Coach videos on you tube (As recent as 12/17/2021) shows a panel with buttons on the bottom (4 buttons for lights, and EXT and RET button, as well as a right and left arrow button)

I don't know if this is new for 2022, but my panel has no buttons on the bottom. Every time I tried to launch the rapid camp application, it would pop with with "Press the RET button to begin pairing" (or something like that)

I discovered after hours of digging, that with my panel, you have to go and press the physical bathroom light switch for at least 5 seconds to initiate the process... This resulted in a spinning circular "Loading" indicator on the screen and after about 30 seconds... Bam... I was back connected.

Anyway, Hope this helps someone and saves them the hours of frustration I just went through... Now... On to the next issue

Thor loves to make updates throughout the year so it does not surprise me that you have a different BMPro. These updates make it challenging for us all as I recently had my BMPro battery die while other do not have to worry about this because it starts on boot-up. It turns out I have a different BMPro as well. thanks for sharing!

I understand the need for updating mid year, between models, etc, but it's the lack of info that's aggravating. If thor or the dealer would have just inserted a one sheet addendum in my documentation it would have saved me hours of digging.

I'm still dealing with a non working charging system. Driving does not charge the coach batteries and
it just so happens I'm in an apparent once in a lifetime cloud cover so I can't use solar to charge either.

I suspect you have a BIM. Thor has been known to wire them backwards.

Yes, if you have the typical Precision Circuits BIM 160 which you will usually find in the engine room, this is how you wire it:

Chassis battery/alternator to terminal A, the one next to the ignition terminal. The coach battery to terminal B. See attached BIM 160 data sheet.

Thanks for the info, but now I have bigger issues... the ignition wont turn on the chassis and It appears there is no power either since the entire dash is blacked out. Next stop... Have it towed back to the dealership...

Do you have a 100 amp breaker near the house battery. Yellow flag looking thing. There’s also maybe a similar blue flag breaker under the hood near the chassis battery. Granted my unit is different from yours but both tripped once and everything seemed dead. If you have them, and can see the yellow and blue flags, they’re tripped. Push them back up and see what happens.

I looked under the passenger side, and drivers side of the coach (per the Thor motor home YouTube channel's instructions) and have yet to find the yellow switches. The problem is that it's parked near a curb, and it's been raining like crazy with the threat of tornados here for 2 days. Needless to say, this is making the trouble shooting process more difficult...

Have you measured the voltage of your chassis battery? Might be dead and a jump start will get you on your way.

Not yet... dodging rain and tornados Lol....

With this van, I'm suppose to be able to Jump start of the coach batteries with the button in the cab. That doesn't work. I'm sure some breakers are tripped, or relays, etc... weather's just too crappy to get out and crawl around...

My 2022 Vegas 24.1 BMPro RV Master panel has the manual buttons at the bottom.

You could have called Thor Customer Support 1-877-855-2867 for fast help. Have the last 8 digits of your VIN handy.

Posts #4 and #5 above should remedy that.

Alas... After crawling in the water and under my motor home, it seems that Camping world sold me the wrong system. I ordered an 800AMP Hour with Re(Li)able™ lithium battery system.... This is 200 Amp Hours and there are no "Yellow" switches to be found under the carriage to reset/enable the system.

The plot thickens.

Hi there - did you ever find more info on the panel without buttons? We are struggling to find instructions for this model.

Thanks -

Nope... I think I went to the BMPRO website and just poked around. I think I found instructions on there.

Same issue

Hi I am having the same issue. I accidentally deleted the app from the tablet. My tablet also doesn’t have the button’s below. Can anyone point me to the documentation on the BM PRo website on what to do?

2022 THOR New BMPRO Panel??

On the BMPro website, there’s an addendum that addresses pairing with the buttonless panel. For the RVMaster in my FIL’s Sequence 20L, you need to hold down the bathroom light switch to get it into the pairing mode. I managed to unpair the mounted panel, and it was a scramble for a little bit until my wife found the addendum.

You are a god!! Thank you sooooo much. We called BMPro about the lack of buttons and they said it was a supply chain issue with what they could get for screens. They said the cloud option would work. Haven’t figured out the Wineguard Wi-Fi unit yet
