That's a pretty cool set up, but I don't think I can get my motor home to where the wife and myself do most of our diving.

Needs an O2 clean area, space for large 240vac compressor, haskall booster pump, and 232cf oxygen cylinder so I can refill my rebreather o2 cylinder, LOL.

Nice MH setup.

My scuba hardware is extensive, but I think my scuba days are about over because my DW never picked it up during the past 25 yrs of marriage, and I'm ready to do more hobbies where we spend time together than apart.

We're done diving unless enticed by somethimg new.
Rebreathers and air are what we dive. I never liked nitrox or tri mix cost or cult. I enjoy my naps too much and had excellent(hard learned) breathing habits. Our rebreathers were given away but I keep 10 or so tanks and equipment for five people(it's hard to even give away standard equipment) here at the house just in case.
Big 120 8 inch tanks(no diddling with straps, same diameter as aluminum 80's) were the norm if we had time to plan.
We still always carry a Mini-b with us in our truck and I'll drop into a well or lake on occasion. I always have a shallow water single tank full setup in the RV. It fits in a medium size duffle.

Old mines and ghost towns at the bottom of lakes, old wells, plane wrecks, sunken boats were our interests,...we never were good fish looker-atters. Diving was just a path to the bottom for us.
I have a lot of ghost town, grave and mine pics on another computer.
Due to friends wanting to go where 100,000 have boldly gone before, we've dived most of the world tourist stuff also.

I have some great museum stuff for trade.
Xios eyesea
Farallon Mark 8 scooters
Buglights
Scott aquapak
Very early bc's.
A couple of underwater metal detectors and magnetometers
A tow fish magnetometer.
Lift bags small and large.
Its all stored. We've changed decor and habits and location.. It's easier now to keep it in boxes than explain it all to non-divers.

That HUGE pontoon boat that used to take people to the b29 wreck in lake mead? That was my Colorado River dive boat. We Sold it to someone who lived/loved it more than I.

Ducksface, it sounds like we have similar interests, although different approaches.

I only used a 120 steel once. Did some wreck diving along the Florida Keys wearing double AL80's and trimix. Did a lot of wreck diving with Hollis Prism2 rebreather and trimix in Florida Keys, Pompano Beach, Dry Tortugas, and Truk (Chuuk) Lagoon. Really enjoyed diving rebreather off Texas Gulf Coast on oil rigs, Stetson Bank, and the Texas Flower Gardens.

Prior to Doubles and Rebreathers, I enjoyed many years diving single 80's on reefs.

I had a 210 here for a while. Never dived it, traded off for something unmemorable.
I've never dived doubles. The scooters are excellent air preservers (and excellent dredges/muck blowers)....
The 120's were bought when I was just learning.i I never wanted to be the guy who had to come up first due to consumption.

We started diving because we were running into too many meth deals and migrant caravans and drug mules while out in the desert scoping out ghost towns and mines.

Discovered the Colorado river lakes and the tva and dozens of other man made lakes and underwater towns. We still off-road, but not as boldly as before.

Edit:

Did a walk about in the shop.
I guess I have more dive stuff hanging out than I thought.
That's an aluminum 80 sitting in front of the Mark 8 and Mark 5 scooters.
The white backpack is a tank cover with an integrated bc.
Coolest of stuff in 1971.

I did Volkswagen rock off of kehei as a night dive from shore. Single 80 rental tank. Ran out of air after a 10 minute cruise around the rock(nothing to see, just a local seabed thing...the size of a Volkswagen beetle)back stroked back to shore. Planned it that way. Every kick of our fins stirred up the flagulistas(I know that's not the common name...i mean the little krill that glow when you spank them) like a billion swirling stars.
The whales and shrimp were sssoooo loud.

A suggested dive if someone will take you.

And
I stupidly turned down a chance to dive the Arizona. I didn't know it was a 'thing'.
I was on a touristy wreck dive(accommodating a friend) the leads were doing a research dive on the arizona the next day(they were also accommodating a friend on this wreck dive).
I said
'Nah, we're going to go find that shrimp truck on the other side of the island'.

You sure?

'Yeh, I'm not a ww2 type guy. Maybe next time'

I learned a year or two later how there is no
Next time
To an invite like that.

Seven or wighr of them in that picture and There's another dozen or so in boxes.
People pass them up on 3bay for 12 bucks so I started buying them to make a set of big/little/all colors. I used to have a 'dive room's all girly decorated like a museum. Now it's all just a shit-ton of stuff in bins and we live in the pygmy forest...and there are no divers around.

Look up
Farallon shark dart knife....
Mine is in a box here somewhere or traded off....

The finest Japanese and German steel available is in those old dive knives on the wall. Great knives, full tang with a banger end, but always plastic handles(so...you cant bang on them even lightly). I have an aluminum handled one here somewhere and a rubber handled smaller version is my bench knife for whacking things.

Consider one or two of them as a gift if you ever make it to the Grand Canyon.
Hardest to sharpen kniives I've ever owned, you'll enjoy the torment....

And
I'm surprised YOU missed the binary....

I keep my blades razor sharp with an F. Dick honesteel...
It was old when my Grampa gave iut to me 39 years ago...
The only ones that give me fits are the Buck hunting knives. Once they're dull: it's a real project!

This knife is dollar store soft compared to those dive knives.
It was my grandfather's.
I put that damn knick in it about three years ago and havent looked at it due to shame since Except for this picture.

And
If you find this same model of buck knife with a hole drilled through the head where the rivet normally is, AND it says has 'scuba' stamped into the hilt where 'buck' is stamped...THAT'S a $600 museum piece and not a $20 knife....

That is a beauty!
A soft blade might get dull from a sideways glance: but you can sharpen them with just about anything!
(Don't worry about the knick: it gives the blade character!)

After being chased while spearfishing by a 10' Sand Tiger around an abandoned Exxon Oil Platform 23 miles off the coast of Port St. Joe a few year ago, my wife said she's done with diving. We never dove alone so I guess I'm done too. Our dive master (Kill Fish Charters) said it's the first one he's ever seen in the Gulf. It's been 10 years now and she still ain't interested. The tree huggers started huggin' sharks and Goliath Grouper a few years ago...now they've taken over all the good wrecks. Shoot a fish and lose an arm or your life.

No knife pics. I only carried a couple small blades, but never used one. My focus was always on underwater photography equipment. Here's a few of the pics I took over this years.

I had a client (and good friend!) stop in yesterday to check on us.
He was at the Galapagos Islands three weeks ago, and took lots of pictures of Darwin's arch...

...now Darwin's rubble!

I found these while digging through a bin looking for a wrist-lamp I had built using an hid lamp.
I don't dive much anymore and thought it would be better off in the shop.

I'll try to find the pair with 10 inch nylon extensions and a bit of a hinge.
When you downstroke with these it generally means business.
