It's kind of like learning to know when to stop going up to the buffet table: isn't it?

It is a progression from how we used to camp to where we are today with the motor home. We went from backpacking, tent camping, tent trailer to a Class B motor home and currently in a Class C with two slide outs. We are now looking at moving into a Class A as our next move next year.

Yes I find that an all you can eat seafood isn't the value it used to be.

Interesting thread. I started at 34 foot A in 2001 and went to 36 foot for 2 years before settling on one of the first sprinter vans in 2004. Sold it in 2017 for more “room” and bought a Vegas. Sold that after a year and bought the current Sprinter van last July after realizing we travel from park to park more than we stay in one place.

What I have learned is that it’s best to decide if you are a tourer or a settler. Drivability was key in my decision going back to a van. Staying for a couple nights and hitting the road it’s the van for us hands down. Eventually that will change when we begin staying at places for weeks where room is more important. . 19,000 miles in 14 months in the van tells me it’s not quite that time….yet
