Atwood range..go cheep..git bit...

Well.............. go cheep...get bit...

Have a Atwood gas range (3 burner cooktop and gas oven...)
While tightening the gas line at the oven pilot light.. leaned on the open oven door...
now door refuses to close completely.
After some investigation and a whole lot of surf'n the web..
took the door off (spring loaded hinge bit me good when it snap's my thumbs)
disassembled the door to get to the hinges...then discovered that there is a hole in each hinge for a 10p nail to hold the hinge open..NOW they tell me !
The side rails on the spring extensions had buckled, built way too light & flimsy..
Live & learn I suppose..
ordered replacements , now waiting........
