Install a CB antenna on a 2015 Windsport 34f

Can anybody give some do's and don't on installing a CB antenna on my Windsport.
I have the right antenna etc but what's best way to mount it. What trim has to come apart on the inside to run the coax cable?
Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks Jake

I've got the Windsport cousin (Hurricane 32A) and looking to do same.
was looking to put the antenna on passengers side - alongside the windshield so that the top was same height as radio antenna on drivers side.
Haven't figured out how to get into the trim area gracefully to run the coax down and under the dash.

Have the "no ground plane" antenna - just figuring how to run the wire.

When I ran my air lines for my air horn switch... I removed the dash cover that goes over your gages, only 4 screws held that in place. Then lowered the bunk and removed the side padded panel that covers your cabling for the bunk. Next with a heavy duty chain for the weight I pushed it in and let it slide down the front windshield pillar down to the dash. Careful not to let the top end go down as well. Mine seamed to be pretty much hallow down to the dash. I found the chain and taped my line to it and pulled it on up. I also noticed that the plastic pillar cover closest to the windshield was taped all the way up with double sided tape, if need be you might even want to try pulling it away just enough to run your cable but have to do it from top to bottom and may not restick again.

Windsport CB install

Thanks for the info. It is a start.

Anymore ideas e-mail me. Captjsr@gmail.com

Really interest on how to get access behind the panel above the driver's window.
Was planning to mount the antenna there and run the coax down the window pillar then under the dash.

I hope this isn't a major job.

Jake

Camping World installed ours attached to the drivers side mirror and then ran the wire in through the window.
