Axxera radio mount fail

I have a Thor hurricane 31z 2017. The axxera keeps popping out of dash. How do I secure it again. The back nut is on but the fit to dash is issue - it slides out - will not stay flush & then sits just behind the dash after it drops 1/4 inch

Welcome to the forum. I am wondering if this radio was original to the coach? If yes, has the dash fit always been a problem with radio coming out? Normally the dash radio has its own matching dash mounted metal case, such that when the matching radio is inserted, it locks into place into the case. Removal of the radio requires two special metal keys to be inserted on each side of the radio in order to release it again from the case. It sounds like maybe the case has moved forward from where it should be sitting inside the dash. Maybe you need to figure out how to recess the case a little deeper into the dash? The other issue may be that the radio or case locking tabs have been bent so the case no longer retains the radio correctly?

It sure sounds as if you've got some mounting brackets missing.
Can you post a picture?
(Maybe even one of the area in which the radio sits?)

Figures out the issue. .made the inner cage conform more to dash and it seems sturdy now.
