POTTED B.I.R.D. GAS 00-0956-000 Replacement

Hello everyone, has anyone replaced their POTTED B.I.R.D. GAS P/N 00-00956-000, and Trombetta on their Vegas or Axis? Is there a sutible replacement for them.

If you can find one for sale a BIM is the current item for that function. But if I have to replace my BIRD/Trombetta relay I am going with a marine ACR:

Thank you, I will have to check the BIM out and the Marine ACR. I hope there isnt an engineering degree needed to make the change out

In either case, the sensing wires are already run to the BIRD, just need to research which color they are. The only negative about the ACR is you may loose the "Emergency Start" feature if you have it. But a simple disconnect switch can resolve that.

Hello 16ACE27, I was able to locate and purchase a B.I.M. 225. It should arrive tomorrow.

Looking at the wiring and the terminal lugs, I need ask if anyone has replaced their B.I.R.D. Trombetta with a B.I.M 160 0r 225 and if so Please share a photo or explanation on how you wired it. Like I always say if it has 2 wires I have a 50/50 chanse of getting it right! Well Thank you all
