Thor Gemini furnace issue

My Thor Gemini tx furnace kicks on along with the air conditioning blower. When the furnace reaches desired temperature it kicks off but the roof unit blower stays on
My first question is does the roof unit ( I assume it’s the air conditioner) with only the blower on to circulate warm air, suppose it come on when you turn the furnace on?

My second question is should it stay on even when the furnace is not sending out warm air.?

I think your thermostat is turning on the heat pump side of the a/c as well as the furnace. I will check mine out tomorrow to see if that’s possible. I know I had the switch wrong on mine and it turned on the heat pump instead of the furnace.

What switch would you be referring to?

Actually I should have said thermostat setting.

I’ll look at mine tomorrow but it seems to me for heat it can not be on the automatic setting

I just saw a you tube Video on how to operate the Dometic thermostat.
You were right. I had the fan on the low position and that causes the air conditioner to come on when you put the furnace on
Going to reset the thermostat and will let you know
