I have never shoveled my roof. It is not covered and we do get lots of snow here in northern Vermont. Never have had a problem.

At one time, several years ago, I did start to shovel the snow off but it didn't take me long to realize that I would probably cause more damage by trying to shovel than the snow would cause.

Right now we have a foot of settled snow on the roof and the forecast is 5 - 8 inches tonight and another similar storm in a couple of days. I don't plan on doing any shoveling.

As a previous poster said, what do the dealers do???
