I agree, we weren't impressed with any in town. The nice one in the French Quarters was way too expensive & full of very high end motorhomes.
About 6 years ago we stayed at a park that prior to Katrina was a small motel that they converted to a rv park, VERY tight spots & full of mostly permanent residents. The owners were VERY nice folks though.
We stay at Lakeside quite a bit. Love the setting and very nice folks! Also will allow you to dump tanks while you are traveling. Have propane on site.
