We have a 2017 Ace and the same situation , every time we use it we have to take it in for warranty repair issues.
Two things you said caught my attention: sewer smell - same issue, our saniflush was installed backwards so didn't work, had to take it out, behind bathroom cabinet wall and replace in correct position- now works.
Cable issue- in the Ace the TVs are Seiki model- finally told by service department these TVs are not "cable ready" and will not work with cable unless a cable box is installed.
We are totally frustrated with Thor Ace although love our unit floorplan and ease of camp life. Still trying to figure out what to do with Thor and MHSRV as far as frustration regarding continual warranty repairs
