Our's was wired the same but this will only allow you to watch a DVD or whatever on your bedroom TV. I wanted to be able to play DVD's on any of our TV's. Only way to do that is either have a DVD player for each TV or install a splitter that will let you send DVD, or any other AV device, signal to any or all TV's.
