Stepout; Yikes! With the oil tube looking like that, I have to believe there would be condensation/foamy oil residual in the engine as well. And, it probably started well before the OP bought the MH used. For my peace of mind, I would run a engine flush through it to get any sludge/condensation/foamy oil cleaned out. I've used this Amsoil flush before and it does a nice job on the internals of an engine. From then on get that engine up to full operating temp when you run it. And, use a synthetic oil. The synthetic doesn't have to be a super expensive either. Mobil 1, Castrol edge, Pennzoil, you get the idea.
