I have driven on the sand before, but in a Jeep Wrangler with big 32" tires and an onboard air compressor, carrying tow straps. I can't imagine driving an RV on a beach unless it is way smaller than mine. Yes, you can air down... yes they may have some hard pack areas... on the other hand, if the beach was going to be THAT crowded, I wouldn't want to be there anyway.
I lived in Virginia Beach for over 30 years... time to head inland for me! I hate cleaning sand out of EVERYWHERE!!!
